Measurement of the airborne radioactivity spectrum of a certain bauxite mine

Created on 06.23
This application case is a special exploration test for a certain bauxite mine. Radioactive property spectrum measurements were conducted on the known ore body, and the abnormal characteristics caused by bauxite-dominated rocks (minerals) were analyzed to provide a reference basis for the search of surrounding bauxite mines.

The contour map of the equivalent values of the 89.27 keV characteristic peak CPS was drawn based on the peak energy values of the bauxite characteristics. It corresponds well with the known distribution of bauxite and effectively reveals the regional abnormal distribution of bauxite.
